entre.jpgOur dinner at Jim and Judy’s is now part of history.  We had a wonderful party with great food, a long soaking in the hot tub, too much beer and wine, and lots of laughter.  We had an additional guest, Judy’s long time girlfriend Chris joined us, making it a party of 11 with Carol and Gus joining us too.

We started out with plenty of appetizers.  Annette and Rink brought some kind of delicious grainy crackers and a chic pea spread/dip that got us all thinking Mediterranian and Chris made a Spanish Tortilla which was a baked potato, cheese and egg dish.  Very Mediterranian!  Mike and Maureen also brought an appetizer of clams with spicey sausage and white beans.

I could have walked away then but there was much more to come.  We took a little break and endulged in some more drink and what not,,, then gathered around the table and had some chilled Sally Browne Gaspacho with some big croutons.  Even after all the appetizers this was very refreshing and went down very well.  Then we had a fresh green salad that Annette made with some home grown veggies along with her homemade Salad Dressing.

So Now it was time to hit the hot tub.  Sally, Bob, Annette, Judy, Mike and Maureen made hot tub soup for a while and really didn’t want to get out but our main course was calling.

Jimmy brought out his entre!   A delicious Pork Roast and served us up a Vegetable Paella as a side dish.  The pork was so tender and the gravy he made was rich and out of this world.  Everything was absolutely fantastic.  Good job everyone and Thanks to all!!!

The next one is on the Browne’s and we’ll be looking at dates soon.   Until then here’s some pictures from the occasion.
