Club Turning Point

Well it seems as though our club is at a major turning point. In life “shit happens” and “things change” all the time. As people’s lifes change through time, so do their interests and activities. Mike and Maureen have decided to leave the club and we wish them the best, and we hope they will be our guests sometime in the future. So the remaining members have some decisions to make about the club’s future now and we can discuss them at the next Dinner. The next Dinner will be at our house (Bob and Sally) and we want to get a date out soon. Our theme is going to be “PARTY ON” and we all bring 2 nice appetizer dishes, including our guests. More on this in another post….

Did someone say RIBS!
Party in Medford tonight at Jim and Judy’s. An evening barbeque is in order and Jimmy’s makin’ ribs. Should be nice. We will miss Mike and Maureen who can’t make it but we’ll just have to party on without them. We’ll let you know how it goes!!
Club Dinner July 18 2009

Our next club dinner party is a “GO” for next Saturday Night. July 18th 2009. The dinner is at Jim and Judy’s house and the theme is Backyard Barbeque. Jim and Judy’s friend and guest for the dinner will be Ben who is doing his barbeque chichen recipe and Jim is making RIBS. Judy says to bring bathing suits and towels for a late night dip in the hot tub. So thats the plan and we’ll see you all then.

As long as we get confirmation from everyone it looks like our next dinner is going to be July 18th at Jim and Judy’s house. No theme yet but we’ll find out soon.
Next Club Dinner

Well here’s the latest on the next club gathering. Judy and Jim say that their April is filled and they can’t do it till May. Judy put out the dates, May 16th or the 23rd. Well the 16th won’t work because the Browne’s and Rinkers will be doing the annual Camp Jam Festival that weekend. Now the 23rd works for the Browne’s so what does anyone else have to say. As for a dinner out! Maybe an outing with the members that will be around in April?? Any ideas or thoughts on this??
