Gourmet Club Dinner
held on May 11, 2002




Our "Mexican Dinner"

This Gourmet Dinner Club gathering was held on May 11th, 2002 at Pat and Dan's house.
The Dinner Party was just fantastic. Pat had two guest couples join us. We had Cathy and Jack Tenner who use to be regular members. It was great seeing them and having them with us for a dinner again. We also had Eileen and Rick who are Pat's long time friends and who are credited with motivating Pat into starting our club.

For Appetizers, which we ate outside, we had Chicken Nachos made by Annette and Rink.
Sally and Bob also made Avacado Enchiladas so we had plenty of appetizers.

Once we sat down at the table we were treated to a delicious salad that Maureen and Mike brought. It was a Hicama and Pinapple Salad with Cilantro Vinagrette. Very tastey!

We were then treated to a delicious Gaspacho Soup brought by Pat's friends, Eileen and Rick. Always a very refreshing dish.

Our main dish, which Pat and Dan did an excellent job with, was a Mexican flavored Pork Roast garnished with a fruity and spicey sauce.
Served up with our main dish was Jim and Judy's Scalloped Potatoes El Mexicano.

After all that we relaxed a bit, talked a lot, and partied up for a while. A couple of "after dinner shots" of tequilla were deffinitly in order. After all it was a Mexican Dinner.

Time for dessert!! We were treated to Kathy's Margarita Pie and Kalua Cake. That, along with some flavored coffees, and we were livin'.



Now that no one could move, we just sat around and partied for a while longer until we could party no more. Another Gourmet Dinner Club party has come to an end.
