Our "Gourmet Barbecue" at Mike and Maureen's
Dinner held on August 9, 2003
Our "Gourmet Barbecue" at Mike and Maureen's turned out a great party. Mike and Maureen had two guest couples since Annette and Rink could not make it and only Dan of Dan and Pat could attend. Our guests were Maureen's niece, Maureen and her man Scott. And Mike invited his long time friend Stanley and his wife Diona.

Our dinner started out with appetizers brought by Jim and Judy. Jim shared his personal barbecue rib recipe with us. Mm Mm!!!
Maureen and Scott brought some delicious Long Hot Peppers stufed with Proscutto and Gorgonzola Cheese. Wow were they good!
Jeremy Browne wanted to get in on the act too so he made us an Avacado/Taco dip which was as good as anyone good have made. So we let him share the rest of our appetizers.

Sally and Bob brought the salad. It was made with exotic leafy greens and topped with Orange wedges and Walnuts with a light orange/ginger dressing. |

Our man Dan made us a delicious soup. It was a potato soup garnished with sliced smoked salmon. |

Mike and Maureen served up our main dish of the evening. They treated us to Grilled Salmon with Roasted Red Peppers and topped with Crab Imperial. Along with that they served some great seasoned grilled corn on the cob. |

| We took a little break for some Margarittas and posing for pictures before we had dessert. |
| Time for dessert!! Diona and Stanley treated us to some Strawberry Short Cake. Not to mention a ShooFly Pie.

After that we just partied the night away!!
