Dinner Club Gathering Held September 11, 1998


Held at Pat and Dan VanArtsdalen's house.

NOTES: Mike and Maureen did not attend as it was their anniversary. Happy Anniversary Mike and Maureen

Our Dinner consisted of the following:

Appetizer: Brought by Cathy and Jack Tennar was a Crab Pizza. A very tasty crab salad mixture on a bobali pizza crust topped with black olives.

Soup: Brought by Pam and Joe Polo was a Spicy Lentil Soup. A deliciously light, and spicy Lentil bean soup.

Salad: Brought by Sally and Bob Browne was a Pineapple Fruit Slaw. A refreshing fruit salad made with pineapple, oranges, and apples, mixed with shredded cabbage.

Side Dish: Made by Pat and Dan Van was a Nutty Pasta Dish. A light spaghetti salad with tomatoes and a nutty flavor.

Main Dish: Also made by Pat and Dan was a Ham and Vegetable Shish-Cabob. Grilled Shish-cabob with Ham, Zucchini, tomatoes, Onions, and Pineapple.

Desert: Brought by Dan and Pat's Guests (Maureen & Rich) was a Lime Coconut Freeze. A very refreshing mixture of Lime Sherbert, Vanilla Ice Cream, And Coconut Cookies.

Highlights of the evening (besides the food):

Pat's new hair cut.
Jack's vacation stories about Puxatauney, Pa.
Jack's war against the skunk in the rain gutter story.
Dan and Jack's Pina Coladas
Joe's and Pam's jokes.
Jack's chair breaking.
