12/10/02 - New Write Up available for your reading pleasure now posted!! Click on the "Past Dinners" Link and check it out. Last Dinner of the year was a blast. I know we are all looking forward to another year of Great Dinner Parties and Fun Times!! So until the next party, CHEERS!!
12/8/02 - Our last Dinner Party of the year is over. Last night we had a terrific time at Bob and Sally's French Bistro Dinner. Everyone did a wonderful job with their recipes and we ate like partying French locals. Next Dinner will be at Annette and Rink's house and they will announce a date and theme in the upcoming weeks. They will host our first dinner of the New Year 2003!
12/6/02 - Next Dinner Party coming up. We look forward to seeing everyone Tomorrow Night at Bob and Sally's house for our "French Bistro" Dinner Party!

11/10/02 - The next Gourmet Dinner Club gathering will be on December 7th at Sally and Bob's house. "The French Bistro" will be the theme. More info to follow.
10/6/02 - WOW!! Last night's dinner party was a blast! Everyone enjoyed meeting Mike's long time friend Eric and his wife Debbie, and as always, enjoyed having Maureen's sister Eleanor and her mate Barry join our party as our second guest couple. Thanks go out to Mike and Maureen for putting together a terrific party. Get me a copy of your recipes so they can be posted here on our website for all to enjoy. Next Party will be at Bob and Sally's place and details will be coming soon. Thanks to everyone that attended and made this party another Gourmet Dinner Club success!
10/1/02 - Next Dinner coming up!! This coming Weekend (10/5) at Mike and Maureen's. Theme for this dinner is Tuscan! See ya' all there!
9/11/02 - Remember 1 year ago today! A day that changed America. Take a moment to remember all those that died in New York that morning 1 year ago and lets hope nothing like that ever happens again!
8/10/02 - Our Cuban Festival / Hot-tub Extravaganza is all over. What a party!! The food was absolutely fantastic and very authentic. Nothing better then good friends, fine food and drinks, and a hot tub to make for a hardy party!! Jim and Judy did a terrrific job hosting the affair and a "Big Thank You" goes out to both of them. Next dinner will be at Mike and Maureen's place so stand by for the details. Thanks goes out to everyone that attended our Cuban Festival for making it another very enjoyable Gourmet Dinner Club gathering.
7/1/02 - Our Next Gourmet Dinner Club gathering at Jim and Judy's is coming up in August. I know we are all looking forward to it. The theme is going to be Cuban. Rink and Annette probably won't be able to make it as they have a family reunion to attend Shame!! We'll miss them.
I hope everyone had great vacations during June and July. We are leaving on the 9th for our vacation to Florida and won't be back until the 20th. Guess we'll see everyone in a couple of weeks.
5/24/02 - Our Gourmet Dinner Club website now has its own domain name. We are now found at "www.gourmetdinnerclub.com". The site has also been moved to a new hosting provider which gives us more space for pictures, recipes, and articles. So now it is very easy to tell someone how to get to our website. Just tell them

5/12/02 - Our Mexican Dinner at Pat and Dan's was just fantastic. Everyone out did themselves with their recipes. All of the food was absolutely delicious and everyone had a great time. We had terrific guests join us. It was great to see Cathy and Jack Tennar, former members, and Pat's friends Eileen and Rick who motivated Pat into starting up the Gourmet Dinner Club we have today. Our next gathering will be at Jim and Judy's sometime in July. I know we are all looking forward to it.
4/26/02 - The date of our next gathering has been announced. May 11th at Dan and Pat's place. The theme is going to be Mexican. E-mail me your recipes any time and I will post them for all to see.

3/20/02 - Our Dinner Party last Saturday night at Annette and Rink's place was FANTASTIC! All of the "Favorite" dishes were absolutely dilicious. Thanks goes out to Annette and Rink for their terrific hosting! Next Dinner at Dan and Pats. Wonder what's in store for us there?!?!
2/28/02 - Our next Gourmet Dinner Club gathering is at Annette and Rink's place. Date is going to be 3/16/2002 and they have chosen the theme "Favorites". Maybe from a past dinner or maybe just a family favorite. Invites should be coming soon with our course assignments.

1/21/02 - Our Gourmet Dinner Club gathering at Bob and Sally's is now a part of history. The 6 course Italian Feast lasted all night and everyone made our first party of 2002 a great success. All the food was terrific and very Gourmet-ish. Our next dinner will be at Annette and Rink's and they will announce a date and theme soon. Thanks goes out to everyone for making our Italian Dinner a very enjoyable and tasty evening.1/17/02 - This Saturday Night!! Our next Gourmet Dinner Club gathering is at Bob and Sally's. This is going to be a 6 course Italian Feast. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

12/15/01 - The next Gourmet Dinner Club gathering and the first one of the new year will be held on January 19th at Bob and Sally's place. We will announce the theme in the next couple of days. So everybody should mark their calendars and get ready for the first Club Dinner of 2002!
11/22/01 - HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE! Seems as though this year there is a lot to be thankful for. Be Thankful that there are many unbelievable Americans that are willing to put their lives on the line to help people they don't even know. From the firemen, police, and emergency workers that worked day and night and even gave their lives to try and help at the World Trade Center disaster, to the many people that supported that effort with contributions,gifts, and prayers, and to the men and women who are now over seas defending our beliefs in Freedom and Peace and the right to live without fear of terrorism. Thank You to them all!

10/13/01 - The Next Dinner Club gathering is a only about a week away. The theme has officially been announced as Peruvian. Maureen has sent out invitations and also an email to everyone with their course assignments. Not knowing much about the country of Peru, except that it is in South America, I'm off to find some recipes. If anyone needs some help with finding recipes send me an email.

8/12/01 - Our Spanish Dinner last night at Jim & Judy's place was excellent. The meal was very much traditional Spanish cuizine. With authentic Spanish decorations, music, and beverages, everyone had a great time. Our Thanks to Judy and Jim for a very nicely done Gourmet Dinner Party. |

 | 3/25/01 - WOW! What a feast! Our first Dinner Party at the Rinker's place was just terrific. The food was fantastic and very Hawaiian. Everything was on the menu from Spam to Roast Pig. Annette and Rink did a great job and their first Dinner Party as club members was a big success. Great Job Guys. |

3/18/01 - The Next Gourmet Club Dinner is next Saturday! Hope everyone is getting ready. I sent out an e-mail with some different places that have Hawaiian recipes in case anyone still hasn't decided what to make. It was a little different since Hawaii isn't a country but a state so the regular resources for recipes didn't have too much. But after searching around I found plenty. The other surprising thing I found out about Hawaii is that the most eaten and most favorite food of the local Hawaiians is SPAM. Yes that luncheon meat in a can. They have all sorts of dishes that use SPAM. From breakfast sandwiches to Spam Sushi. I though that was pretty weird. OKay well I guess I'll see everyone Saturday Night.
