Halftime Mexican Quesadillas

 

 

Halftime Mexican Quesadillas make the best appetizers for football parties!


Ingredients
10 Mission® Burrito size Flour Tortillas, warmed
3/4 lb. chicken breasts, cut into very thin strips
1 small onion, thinly sliced
1 pkg. (1 oz.) Lawry's® Taco Spices & Seasonings
1 can (2 1/4 oz.) sliced black olives, drained
1 1/2 cups cheddar or Monterey jack cheese, shredded


Directions:

Total Time: 23 minutes

1: Cook chicken and onion 7 minutes in oiled skillet over medium high. 
Stir in Seasonings, olives and 1/2 cup of water. Bring to boil and 
simmer for 3 minutes.

2: Spread 1 cup of mixture on each tortilla to edges and sprinkle 1/2 cup 
of cheese over mixture. Cover with a second tortilla; brush lightly with
water. Bake at 350 degrees F for 5 minutes. Cut wedges; serve with 
salsa and guacamole.
